What We Collect

• Account details including email address, phone number, display name, suburb, and profile setup status.
• Seller setup and payout readiness information, including Stripe Connect account status and identity or verification status returned by Stripe.
• Listings, listing photos, card details, prices, watchlists, price alerts, seller profile signals, and buyer/seller transaction records.
• Pickup and handoff records, including QR handoff events, transaction chat, buyer evidence photos, dispute evidence, timestamps, and support actions.
• Device push tokens, app diagnostics, security logs, IP-derived abuse/rate-limit signals, and crash or error reports.
• Support messages and any information you send when reporting a problem.

How We Use Data

We use this information to operate the marketplace, show local listings, process checkout through Stripe, help sellers receive payouts, support QR pickup handoff, prevent abuse, send transaction notifications, resolve disputes, and improve reliability.

Third-Party Services

Mintd uses Supabase for database, authentication, and storage; Stripe for payments, connected accounts, payment methods, and identity or payout workflows; Expo for push notifications; Mapbox for location and map services; Sentry for diagnostics; and may use analytics tooling for product and reliability measurement. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on Mintd servers.

Retention

Account profile data can be deleted from the app where supported. Some records, including transactions, payout, dispute, audit, tax, security, and support records, may be retained where reasonably needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, dispute, or operational obligations. Evidence photos and support records are retained while needed for transaction, safety, legal, or dispute handling unless a shorter retention rule is implemented and verified.

Your Rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing privacy@mintd.app. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Security

Mintd uses TLS, Supabase row-level security, backend-only service credentials, private transaction-photo storage, and audited admin/support tools. No internet service can be guaranteed risk-free. Contact security@mintd.app if you believe your account or a transaction is at risk.
