1. The Service

Mintd is a local trading card marketplace for in-person pickup. It connects buyers and sellers, provides listing, checkout, communication, QR handoff, proof, payout-status, and support tools. Mintd does not take title to cards and is not the seller of user-listed goods. Mintd does not grade, authenticate, insure, store, or ship user-listed cards unless a separate product surface says otherwise.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to buy or sell the relevant cards in your state or territory. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of listings, ownership of cards, tax obligations, and complying with applicable laws.

3. Listings And Pricing

Sellers set their own list prices. Buyers see the listing price, fees, and payment total before confirming checkout. Sellers receive the listed sale price after final handoff evidence, subject to seller payment account readiness and any payment review, refund, chargeback, fraud, or legal hold.

4. Fees

During launch, individual sellers and non-verified shops may use a buyer-protection/platform component of 2.5% of the listing price capped at A$35, with card processing passed through inside the total fees shown at checkout. Verified shops can be configured as processing-only during the MVP. The checkout screen is the source of truth for the payment total before purchase.

Mintd is not currently registered for GST. Service fees are not GST-inclusive and no GST invoice is issued. This will be updated if GST registration occurs. Sellers are responsible for their own GST obligations where applicable, income tax, and any other tax obligations arising from sales through Mintd. Sellers should seek tax advice if they sell as a business or approach the GST registration threshold.

5. Payments And Payouts

Payments and seller payouts are processed through our payment provider. Mintd coordinates checkout and sends seller earnings after final handoff evidence is recorded, payment-review and account-readiness checks clear, and any refund, chargeback, fraud review, payout-destination issue, or legal hold is resolved. Bank payout timing depends on the seller payout account, payout destination, settlement timing, and risk checks. This process is not a legal escrow account.

6. Pickup And Handoff

Transactions are pickup-first. The seller presents a one-time QR code at pickup and the buyer may capture handoff evidence. Users are responsible for choosing safe public pickup locations and behaving lawfully.

7. Refunds And Payment Reviews

Refunds are reviewed by Mintd support and usually return to the original payment method. Refunds may occur by cancellation, mutual agreement, support decision, provider or chargeback process, duplicate-payment recovery, or documented platform rule. Payment review outcomes may include refund, seller earnings proceeding, evidence extension, account action, or fraud referral. After final handoff evidence is saved, sales are generally final except where fraud, counterfeit goods, legal obligations, or platform rules require intervention.

8. Wallet Credit And Stored Value

Mintd does not currently offer stored-value wallet credit, cash balances, or buyer credit. Seller payout activity is not buyer wallet credit and is not a user-controlled stored balance. If Mintd introduces credit or wallet features later, separate terms will apply before those features are made available.

9. Third-Party Card Brands And Content

Mintd is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the owners of third-party trading card games, card names, logos, artwork, or trademarks. Card names and images are used to identify physical collectible cards listed by users or sourced from catalogue providers where available. Users must only upload listing photos and content they have the right to use.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You must not list counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, misrepresented, or fraudulently obtained cards; buy your own listings; manipulate prices or transaction counts; harass users; evade bans; or use Mintd for unlawful activity.

11. Pilot Status

Mintd is launching through a Melbourne pilot. Features, availability, fees, verification requirements, shop treatment, and transaction limits may change with notice where practical. Some features may be disabled by launch-safety controls.

12. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Mintd is not liable for user conduct, card authenticity claims, meetup safety, consequential loss, or losses outside the fees paid to Mintd in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

13. Account Action

To request account deletion while in-app deletion is unavailable, contact support@mintd.app or use Mintd support. Mintd may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts, listings, payouts, or transactions where needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, chargeback handling, payment review handling, safety, or breach of these terms. Transaction, payment, support, tax, audit, and safety records may be retained where legally required or reasonably needed.

14. Changes

Mintd may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app, email, or website where practical. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
